We believe our students are best placed to recommend William College as a place to study. Through our referral scheme, a current student (the referrer) will receive a reward worth £500 referrer) will receive a reward worth up to £500 to support their studies when their referred friend successfully enrols at the College.

Terms and Conditions - Refer a Friend Scheme

Eligibility:

  • The 'refer a friend' scheme only applies to referees who apply for the scheme, pay fees and apply direct to William College (and not through an agent), and fully enrol on the course stated in their Offer Letter.
  • The 'refer a friend' scheme only applies to newly recruited students who have not previously studied at William College and exclusively for Year 1 entry (not Foundation Year entry). Students referred for the Foundation Year are not eligible for this scheme.
  • To be eligible to receive a 'refer a friend' reward £500 amazon gift e-voucher (non-cash redeemable), the current William College student (the referrer) must be fully enrolled on a course with no outstanding fees. The referrer must have the referee's consent to submitting the referee's data for the purposes of this scheme.
  • The scheme is not open to employees, agents or contractors of William College or any other division of the group, regardless of whether they are current students or alumni.

Application Requirements:

  • The referrer must clearly state their relationship to the referee.
  • The 'refer a friend' application form must be submitted before an Offer Letter is produced by William College (Bath Spa University).
  • The 'refer a friend' application form must be approved by the admissions team.
  • The referred student must apply and fully enrol on their course within 12 months of referral form submission.

Reward Conditions:

  • The reward will be given to the referrer after successful enrolment and payment of 50% of the first-year fees to William College.
  • The referee must achieve at least 60% attendance in their first semester and be up to date with their payment plan before rewards are released.
  • The decision by William College for the 'refer a friend' scheme is final.
  • There is a limit of nine referees a referrer can have.
  • Each successful referral rewards £500 per referee.

Important Restrictions:

  • If either the referrer or the referee is found to have made false or misleading statements as part of the 'refer a friend' scheme, William College reserves the right to withdraw any unpaid reward that has been approved or recover the value of any reward that has already been given.
  • Referrals are only valid if the prospective student applies directly to William College without the involvement of an educational agent, articulation partner, or third-party recruiter at any stage of the application process. Additionally, only the original referring student is eligible for the reward; referrals cannot be transferred or passed on to other applicants.

Variation:

  • William College reserves the right to change these terms and conditions or terminate the 'refer a friend' scheme at any time without notice. If the scheme is terminated William College will honour any applications which have been approved but not yet paid.
  • Rewards are subject to availability and budget limitations. William College reserves the right to suspend or cap the scheme without notice once the annual allocation has been met.

Governing Law:

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these conditions or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
